Premiere with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, May 25, 26, & 27 2012. 4.28.2012 | Internationally renowned jazz violinist Christian Howes performed Scott's Concerto for Jazz Violin and Orchestra with the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra as part of their season finale program The Magic of Jazz at the Schuler Performing Arts Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; conducted by David Demand. 11.11.2011 | Commissioned to write two arrangements for the Metropole Orkest's Timeless Hollywood Film Music concert in Utrecht, Netherlands-Solace (Scott Joplin, from The Sting) and The Old Man of the Mountain (Cab Calloway, from Betty Boop animated film). Conducted by Grammy-winner Vince Mendoza 2011 | Winner of the 2012 ASCAPlus Award, Popular Music Category, "for creative contributions to American music." 1-4.2011 | Commissioned by conductor Michael Krajewski to write orchestral arrangement of Paul McCartney's Blackbird, premiere by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (January 14-16, 2011). Performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (February 11-12, 2011), the Baltimore Symphony Orhcestra (April 9, 2011), and the Orlando Symphony (April 22-23, 2011), for the show Paul McCartney: A Symphonic Tribute. 2.14-18.2011 Netherlands| 2011 Metropole Orkest Arrangers Workshop with Grammy Award winning composer and conductor Vince Mendoza and vocalist Roberta Gambarini. The Metropole Orkest is the world's leading symphonic jazz and pop orchestra. 11.13.2011 8PM | The Scott Routenberg Jazz Piano Trio (with Mark Neuenschwander, bass, and Ian Goodman, drums) will be performing at The Meridian, a live jazz concert venue in Dade City, FL. 7.30-31.2010 | Commissioned by jazz pianist Jeremy Monteiro to write big band arrangements for The Bubala Dance and Orchard Road (Monteiro/Watts), featuring Ernie Watts on tenor sax.
