The inaugural Jazz Rhythm Section Day will feature a masterclass, performance, and Q&A session with award-winning and internationally acclaimed NYC jazz pianist Dan Tepfer and his trio (Rick Rosato, bass and Colin Stranahan, drums). Born in Paris to American parents, pianist-composer Dan Tepfer has translated his bi-cultural identity into an exploration of music that ignores stylistic bounds. Learn more about guest artist Dan Tepfer.

The day will also include a masterclass, performance, and one-on-one time with School of Music jazz faculty Scott Routenberg (piano), Joel Tucker (guitar), Nick Tucker (bass), and Cassius Goens III (drums).

Free and open to the public.  PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE HERE.
